Logo Design + Cameo
Henrietta lane is a café and drinkery serving coffee drinks, teas, and both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, located in downtown Toronto. The name of the bar is derived from the street name that was the center of the "red light district" in Toronto in the 1900's; houses of ill repute & speakeasies. The look of the brand was heavily influenced by the turn of the century. Two aspects of the logo were required, a main logo and a cameo to use as an icon from smaller spaces like coffee cups and aprons. The cameo also appears on the front door. The vintage look of the typography resurrects the feel of the time and also fits with the style of the building.
